This quote is very true. It is hard to imagine what these people are going through, and we are very lucky. It may seem over whelming, but we can all help. It is obviously our responsibility as a country to help, and if you watch the news you can see the Obama is really stepping up to this responsibility. Even the little things we can do as individuals, and the things we can do as a school can make a difference. This is one of those things that you hear about, you will keep hearing about, and you can't ignore. It affects all of us.
I can't imagine what it would be like walking down the street and seeing dead bodies, buildings destroyed, and everything that I knew completely gone, but the people who were hit by the hurricane don't have to imagine. Just hearing that makes you feel sad, even if it's in a different part of the world.
